Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess goals, finances, and loan eligibility

• Maintain accurate CRM and LOS notes throughout the process
• Collaborate with processors and operations to ensure smooth closings
• Stay current on guidelines, pricing, and industry updates

Qualifications

• Active NMLS License required
• Mortgage sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and closing skills
• Knowledge of residential mortgage products
• Organized, self-motivated, and performance-driven

Qualifications

• Telemarketing, inside sales, call center, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong phone presence and communication skills
• Confident handling objections and building rapport
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
• Comfortable with high call volume
• CRM experience is a plus

Mortgage One Funding is seeking ambitious individuals looking to start a long-term career in the mortgage industry. As a Loan Officer Assistant / Mortgage Trainee, you will work directly with experienced Loan Officers and leadership while learning the full mortgage process from lead to close. This role works warm leads only — clients who have already expressed interest in mortgage products.

Responsibilities

• Contact warm leads who have inquired about mortgage options
• Gather borrower information and pre-qualify prospects
• Educate clients on available products and next steps
• Set appointments and transfer qualified opportunities to licensed Loan Officers
• Maintain CRM notes and follow-up schedules
• Learn mortgage products, compliance, and industry fundamentals
• Support the sales team in daily operations
