About Position
We are looking for a mortgage loan officer to evaluate, authorize approval, or deny loan applications for people or for businesses. You will act as a liaison between customers and our financial institution and you will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner. You will also be frequently receiving leads of potential applicants with no cold calling needed. The position includes base pay plus commission and having a loan officer license is preferred but not required as we will also fund and sponsor your loan officer application.

- Proven working experience in sales
- Familiarity with computers and CRM software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience
- Loan origination: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Required)
Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
- Managing large amounts of inbound/outbound calls to discuss and offer our lending services
- Determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans to each applicant
- Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
- Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
- Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
- Update your job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
- Maintain and update account records
- Assess customer needs, explore all options, and introduce different types of loans
- Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels, and cross-sell products and services to accomplish
- Go the "extra mile" to build trust relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process
